Frisco Disco

The face looks strangely familiar but it’s just impossible to see past the comedy moustache and sunglasses to work out who it is.

So near, and yet so far. If only you could only work out the identity of the disco-related singing and acting star, you could walk out of the deal as proud owner of a Corgi-Mettoy Frisco Disco. The set-up comes complete with earphones (in the trade, they’re known as cans), microphone (mike) and solid-state record player (wheel of steel).

The prize is so fantastic, it’s almost worth having a mad stab in the dark. Closing date for entries is October 6th 1979.

Clue: the first bloke looks like him out of the Kaiser Chiefs.
